Nanny sharing is when two or more families hire a single nanny to care for their children together, usually splitting the cost and rotating hosting duties between homes.
Nope. One family with one nanny gets the same schedule, hours tracking, and weekly totals. If you ever add a second family, the cost-splitting math is already built in.
Not at all! OurNanny works great for part-time shares, after-school pods, or irregular schedules. You only bill for the hours scheduled.
Our system calculates exact overlaps. If Family A is there 9-5 and Family B is there 9-3, the system applies the "2-child rate" for 9-3, and switches to the "1-child rate" for 3-5 automatically.
Currently, we handle the math. At the end of the week, we tell you exactly who owes what to whom (and the nanny), and you can settle up via Venmo, Zelle, or cash. Integrated payments are coming later.
